All right folks, it's time to call in the CDC, Health Canada, Environment Canada, and anyone else that can figure this out! There's something in the water affecting model railroaders on P.E.I.!!!
Tom! What are you doing? Don't take your layout apart. I would wait and take some time to think it over before doing so. I know we get busy sometimes and have a hard time getting things done but there will always be an opportunity in the future to work at it. If you are frustrated with something that is where your friends come in to help you out with it. Give it some thought.
I'd take some time to think about it first Tom. Speaking from experience I found I really needed to really think about what I enjoyed most about the hobby and then change the way that I participated. For me it was the change of scales and really trying to focus hard on what I'm trying to achieve on my layout.
All that said, if it is something from the hobby feel free to ask - I'd love to offer a hand. I've really enjoyed reading about your work on your blog - I know I'm looking forward to seeing what you produce next.
I am one of the 'late' starters with this hobby. I had an old Tri-ang HO train set as a child and kept it in a box for many, many years. I finally pulled it out in late 2007. Through some connections, I heard about Scott Jay and the group of guys that were passionate about their HO train setups...and I've been 'hooked' ever since. I am slowly learning and building to my layout as time moves forward . For now my train room is in the spare bedroom , someday I hope to have a basement or maybe the livingroom . I love my new hobby.
This very special lady is one of the reasons that I got into model trains . She was the one who got me to save my old train set that I had when I was a kid . I am not very handy with small things or building but I do try, most of the buildings that you will see in the pictures that I will post will have been made by Cathy and myself . A lot of them are made from a computer program and then built by Cathy . Without her help I would not have been as far along as I am and possibly may not have even gotten into model trains . Thank you so very much for all your help Cathy. You are one Special Lady
Oh no! Not you too!
